Antioxidant 6PPD (4020) is known as a powerful antioxidant and antiozonant for polymeric elastomer compounds. It is one of the key additives used as a stabilizer in synthetic rubber and is widely applied in many rubber products.

This material is a polymer with a purple-brown to dark brown color, produced in granular form. It is soluble in aromatic solvents such as benzene, acetone, ethyl acetate, toluene, and dichloromethane, has limited solubility in ether, and is insoluble in water.

Due to its excellent fatigue resistance, good dispersion in compounds, and minimal effect on the vulcanization process, this product is commonly used in solid rubber products such as conveyor belts, hoses, automotive mounts, and other automotive rubber components.
