C5 Resin

C5 resin is manufactured in China and supplied to the market under the Henghe brand.

C5 resins are used as modifiers and homogenizing agents. Adding this compound to glass helps improve its resistance to shear stress.

In the paint industry, hydrocarbon resins help increase moisture resistance, gloss, and overall strength of coatings.

This material is insoluble in water, ketone solvents, and glycol solutions, but shows excellent solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, and chlorinated solvents. It offers a very good combination of flexibility and adhesion.

The color range of C9 resin is broader than that of C5, and C9 also has a higher melt viscosity compared to C5.

C5 resin should be stored in a cool, dry place and kept away from direct sunlight and heat.
