Standard Vietnamese Rubber

SVR 10

SVR 10 stands for Standard Vietnamese Rubber, with the “V” representing Vietnam, the country of origin.

Vietnam ranks third in natural rubber exports, after Thailand and Indonesia, accounting for 7.5% of the global export market. China is currently Vietnam’s main trading partner, receiving 47% of its rubber exports.

SVR 10 has a hard nature, so in tire technology, it is blended with lower-grade rubbers like RSS and CV50 to produce high-quality products. It can also be combined with other latex grades to create general-purpose (GP) products that meet fundamental rubber technology standards.

While SVR 10 is the best-selling SVR rubber, other widely used grades include:

  • SVR 20
  • SVR CV60
  • SVR CV50
  • SVR 3L

Natural Rubber:
Natural rubber offers flexibility and strength, though it may contain impurities and is sensitive to environmental conditions and hydrocarbons. Compared to other rubbers, it is highly flexible, resistant to water and some chemicals, and durable against cutting, tearing, abrasion, fatigue, and wear. Its working temperature ranges from −58°F to 212°F, and it has high tensile strength and adhesion to other materials.

By heating natural rubber with sulfur, the double bonds in the rubber open and sulfur atoms attach, converting natural rubber into vulcanized rubber.

Purchase of SVR 10:
The highest-quality Standard Vietnamese Rubber (SVR 10) can be purchased from MSN, one of the leading importers of rubber and plastic raw materials.
